How it works

In an Alforaa class, nobody hands kids the answer. They chase it, build it and test it. Here's how one class works.

One class. Four steps.

Ask

Every class starts with a question worth chasing. Kids guess, argue and wonder before anyone gives an answer.

Build

Then they build something to find out, using real tools with their full-time mentor right beside them.

Test

They test it, measure it and try again. When something fails, that's where the best learning happens.

Take home

The project goes home in a kit, so kids can show their family and keep exploring.

Most projects end in a take-home kit, so kids can show their family what they made and keep tinkering.

About the
classes.

How long is a lab class?

Usually one school period, once a week per section. We plan the exact schedule with your academic team.

What happens if a project fails?

That's part of the plan. Kids work out what went wrong and try again. Fixing a failed build is often where they learn the most.

Do kids take something home every class?

Most projects end with a take-home kit. Some bigger builds stay in the lab and are shown at the end-of-term showcase.

Can parents see what their child did?

Yes. The class app sends parents updates on what their child built and learned.
